Hi my name
is Teri Underhill of TKO Boxers. Above is a picture of myself and Andy,
my husband. I have lived in St Louis, MO all of my life. I have been
owned by Boxers since 1993. Since then, I have been in love with this breed
and shared my life with my babies. My first dog was a plain Mahogany male
named Kauen Von Schoenhoff "Champ". He was a great dog and companion. I
first tried him in confirmation. I had no intention on showing him. I did
not know anything about what was expected out of a show dog let alone what
to look for in conformation. I bought him as a pet, but a friend
of mine who was in a different breed talked me into entering a fun match.
I loved the show circuit and what it had to offer. I soon found out that
he was not within the "show quality" specifications and decided to try
him in the obedience ring. His obedience career was cut short when he had
a tendon accident which kept him from furthering his obedience career.
My second was
a bitch named Schoenhoff's Little Bit O' Honni "Honni". She was my little
sweetheart. I was against getting a bitch, but my ex-husband did not want
two male dogs. She was determined to win my heart. And she did! She was
a spitfire and had her own way of doing things. She obtained her CD title
in 1998 and friends can tell you, it was quite a ride. She made lots of
friends by showing how "not" to do things in the OPEN ring. She was convinced
that the jumps were her personal playground and would dodge for them first...
as soon as we stepped into the ring... before we even started the exercise.
All and all, she was a lot of fun. I lost them both to my ex-husband..and
that is all I am going to say about the subject as I still miss my fur
kids terribly and will never forget them!
I am currently
owned by 2 Boxers. TKO's Joy Ride of Oakknoll "Megan" and Oak Knoll's
Taylored Jewel "Paige". Megan is a beautiful dark brindle bitch.
I purchased her from my friend Terri Guetersloh of Oakknoll Boxers in Rolling
Praire, IN. Megan has me twisted around her paw and I swear she has me
hypnotized into getting her own way. She is spoiled to every sense of the
word and has filled that lost void of my girl Honni that I never thought
could be filled.
Look for them
in the show ring this year (and eventually the obedience ring). Both of
my babies are the reason I come home every night and I am so lucky to have
them share my life with me. I hope you enjoy our website.
Special thanks
to Betty Shelton for being so kind and for her expert web design!
